Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $33,280.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification.

Type of Work Experience: Truss manufacturing and building, Framing and shingling

Type of Equipment: Overhead cranes, Power tools, small hand tool

Specific Skills: Assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders and barrels, Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards

Additional Skills: Record information on products inspected, Pack items for shipping and distribution

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Continuous learning

Other Information: Preference will be given to those with previous wood crate building experience. Forklift and container loading, blocking and bracing experience are assets.
