Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be $33.00 to $38.00 per hour for a 60 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification, 4th Period Apprentice, Red Seal Certificate - Industrial Instrument Mechanics.

Type of Service and Repair: Pneumatic and electro-pneumatic sequential control systems, Hydraulic and electro-hydraulic sequential control systems, Multiple loop control systems, Computerized instrumentation systems, Primary control element and sensors maintenance and application, Gas analyzers

Type of Instrument Experience: Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical

Type of Industry Experience: Industrial instruments servicing, Refineries and gas plants, Manufacturing, Petro-chemical industry

Specific Skills: Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems, Remove and replace defective parts, Calibrate components and instruments, Install new measuring instruments

Additional Skills: Read blueprints, Complete test and maintenance reports, Logical approach for troubleshooting

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Location Information: Various locations

Other Information: Project position - this is out of town work - 2-3 months; journeyman or at least 4th yr apprentice. Top wages; all accommodations, transportation, travel time, etc; recent stable exp
