Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, nights, and weekends.

Salary: will be $16.88 per hour for a 35 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Type of Equipment: Lifting device, Dolly, Hand tools

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Transport raw materials and finished metal products, Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials, Clean work areas and equipment, Load and unload vehicles, Grind or chip excess metal from metal products

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks

Work Site Environment: Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle

Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking

Other Information: Must have basic knowledge of the CSA standard for design and construction of steel storage racks. Able to work at heights. Certification of forklift and scissorlift an asset.
