Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be $18.00 to $38.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Insulator Trade Certification, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice, Insulator Red Seal Certificate.

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial

Specific Skills: Select type of insulation required, Measure and cut to required dimensions, Apply and secure insulation using appropriate installation method, Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Instruct apprentices

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: Noisy, Odours, Dusty, Hot

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
