Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Work Setting: Manufacturing plant, Warehouse, Cross-docking facility

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Strapping machines, Pallet lifters, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Conveyors

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pick orders and stock, Make labels and attach to goods, Wrap goods, Pack and unpack goods, Sort goods, Crate goods, Stack goods, Maintain and organize inventory, Operate computerized inventory control systems

Additional Skills: Ship orders, Customer service skills

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Attention to detail

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is available

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Decision making, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning
