Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $15.42 to $18.08 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 3 or D), First Aid Certificate, WHMIS Certificate, Confined Space Entry Training.

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Concrete vibrators, Circular saws, Grinding machines, Sledgehammers, Air compressors, Nail guns, Drills, Forklifts

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and transport construction materials, Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades, Mix, pour and spread materials, Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs, Assist in demolishing buildings, Clean and pile salvaged materials, Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity
