Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate.

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Compactors, Concrete vibrators, Circular saws, Concrete saws, Grinding machines, Sledgehammers, Jackhammers, Air guns, Nail guns

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs), More than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and transport construction materials, Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades, Mix, pour and spread materials, Assist heavy equipment operators, Level earth to fine grade specifications, Clean and pile salvaged materials, Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, Read blueprints

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves, Uniform

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing

Other Information: Applicants must have concrete foundation & ICF experience. Manual labour outdoors, at height and fast pace environment.Able to follow directions & complete tasks as a team/independently.
