Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.
Also: group insurance benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Standard First Aid Certificate, Driver’s licence, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, Confined Space Entry.

Work Setting: Drilling and well service contractor

Location Experience: Alberta, Prairie region

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract), Drug test

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Large workload

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights, Confined spaces, Dangerous, Wet/damp, Noisy, Odours, Hot, Cold/refrigerated

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Own vehicle
