Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be $13.25 per hour for a 15 hour week.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Food Safe Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate.

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Work Setting: Nursing home or other health institution

Food and Beverage Serving Skills: Serve food and beverages, general plate service

Additional Skills: Customer service oriented, Address customers’ complaints or concerns, Assist customers with special needs, Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, Load buspans and trays, Set tables, Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Work Location Information: Urban area

Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing
