Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary: will be $13.18 to $14.81 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate.

Type of Assignments: Foot patrol, Bike patrol, Vehicle patrol

Specific Skills: Enforce regulations of establishments, Resolve conflict situations, Maintain order, Deliver cash and valuables, Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, pager), Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures, Respond to alarms, bomb threats and other emergencies, Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism, Write reports

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bicycling

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is not available

Work Location Information: Rural community, Remote location
