Credentials required: The applicant should have Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification, First Aid Certificate.

Area of Specialization: Assembling machinery and equipment, Adjusting machinery and equipment, Start-up and testing, Shutdown operations, Troubleshooting, Vibration analysis, Levelling and aligning

Type of Machinery or Equipment: Conveyors, Pumps and compressors, Hoists and other lifting devices, Electrical and electronic controls, Power tools

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, Repair or replace defective machinery parts, Perform routine maintenance work on machinery

Additional Skills: Coach and instruct apprentices, Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

Security and Safety: Bondable, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
