Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $35.00 per hour for a 50 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness Certificate.

Supervisory Experience: Oil and gas well drilling workers and services operators

Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities, Establish work schedules, Oversee safety of operations, Prepare and submit reports, Train or arrange for training, Set up machinery and equipment

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Driver’s validity license check

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Large workload

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, Noisy

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel, Drive manual transmission vehicle, Travel expenses paid by employer

Work Location Information: Rural area, Remote location
