Some overtime will be available. Salary: will be $1,467.44 to $1,657.50 per for a 70 hour week. Education: The applicant should have completed high school. Experience: at least five years’ experience. Credentials required: The applicant should have Baker Trade Certification. Work Setting: Camp Type of Equipment: Conventional oven, Microwave oven, Automated mixer or processor Food Specialties: Breads and rolls, Desserts and pastries, Donuts and muffins Specific Skills: Prepare doughs and batters, Bake mixed dough and batters, Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, Draw up production schedules, Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, Inspect kitchen and food service areas Additional Skills: Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, Maintain records and inventory, Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Continuous learning Other Information: 48hr response to web/email inquiries. Clear criminal record. Work 10 hours/day for 21 days straight, then 7 days off. Wage includes overtime. Free room/meals/laundry/TV/transportation while working.
