Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training, some university.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification, Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Red Seal Certificate.

Human Resources Responsibility: 1 - 5

Workers Supervised: Heavy duty equipment mechanics

Major Work Area: Maintenance, Overhaul, Repair, Service

Specific Skills: Supervise workers and projects, Coordinate and schedule activities, Train or arrange for training, Recommend staffing actions, Ensure adherence to safety standards

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less
