Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $10.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Work Setting: Tavern or pub, Lounge

Type of Bartending Experience: All beverages

Specific Skills: Organize and set up bar, Clean, sanitize and maintain bar, Operate point-of-sales system, Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment for beverages, Record and balance beverage sales, Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock, Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations

Additional Skills: Short order cooking and food preparation, Serve food or snacks, Resolve customers’ complaints, Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff, Schedule staff, Operate cash register, Operate video lottery terminal, Motel Check-in (reception)

Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods

Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available, Room and board provided, Rural community, Remote location

Ability to Supervise: 16-20 people
