Credentials required: The applicant should have Insulator Trade Certification.

Area of Specialization: Fire stopping and fireproofing, Industrial noise control, Acoustical insulation

Specific Skills: Measure and cut to required dimensions, Apply and secure insulation using appropriate installation method, Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs, Install vapour barriers, Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials, Erect scaffolding and rig equipment and materials

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Gloves

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: Noisy, Odours, Dusty, Hot

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
