Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training, some university.

Experience: is an asset.

Establishment / Work Setting Experience: Regional or city museum, First nations museum, Heritage/historical site, Interpretive centre

Area of Technical Specialization: Interpretation/guiding

Specific Interpretation / Guiding Skills: Prepare program content, Deliver and evaluate programs, Follow guidelines for protecting artifacts or sites, Handle complaints

Additional Skills: Operate audio-visual equipment, Operate computer systems

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Exhibit Preparation Experience: Lighting

Work Location Information: Rural area
