Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $45,500.00 to $55,500.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training, completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: IBM and IBM compatible, WordPerfect, Spreadsheet software, Database software, Windows

Insurance Adjuster Specific Skills: Investigate circumstances surrounding insurance claims, Determine validity of claims, Take statements, Consult with claimants, accident witnesses, doctors and others, Examine records and reports, Negotiate settlement of claims

Insurance Claims Examiner Specific Skills: Review, examine, calculate and authorize insurance claims, Examine adjusters’ reports, insurance claims and precedents to determine extent of insurance coverage, Ensure claims are valid, Ensure settlements are made according to company practices and procedures, Consult lawyers, doctors or other individuals to discuss insurance claims, Approve insurance claims

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check
