Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Communication Equipment Experience: Trip recorder (on-board computer), Citizens band (CB) radio, Cellular phone

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Transport hazardous products or dangerous goods, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform brake adjustments, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform emergency roadside repairs

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Handle inquiries from customers, Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
