Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $14.00 to $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Certified Hospitality Housekeeping Executive, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).

Specific Skills: Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas, Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, Prepare budgets and payrolls, Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms, Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, Respond to complaints of guests

Additional Skills: Hire staff, Supervise staff, Operate computer software programs, Supervise in-house laundry services, Co-ordinate in-house laundry services

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check
