Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $24.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Licensure by the provincial or territorial governing body.

Work Setting: Commercial dental laboratory

Area of Technical Expertise: Packing, Waxing-up

Area of Specialization: Crowns and bridges, Ceramic or porcelain application

Laboratory Bench Worker Specific Skills: Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays

Additional Skills: Maintain and order supplies

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
