Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $14.77 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: a modicum is required.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, WHMIS.

Work Setting: Hostel

Workers Supervised: Security guards

Specific Skills: Co-ordinate, assign, supervise and review activities of workers, Establish work schedules and procedures, Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, Resolve work related problems, Prepare and submit progress and other reports, Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies, Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, Handle emergency situations, Ensure safety of workers and guests, Attend to persons with special needs, Requisition supplies and materials, Arrange for maintenance and repair work

Security and Safety: Criminal record check
