Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and nights.

Salary: will be $16.00 to $22.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
Notes: milage paid.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Painter and Decorator Trade Certification.

Area of Coating/Application Specialization: Sign painting, Spray texturing, Multi-color finishes, Urethanes

Surface Preparation Experience: Drywall taping/patching

Type of Equipment Experience: Brush painting, Roller painting, Conventional spray painting, Airless spray equipment

Wood Finishing Specializations: Staining

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, Repair cracks and holes, Mix paint to desired colour and texture, Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging, Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Estimate labour and material costs, Instruct apprentices, Supervise other workers

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools
