Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary: will be $11.50 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: the best part of a year.

Work Setting: Discount variety store, Family clothing store, Second hand store

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Point of sale system, Electronic mail, Basic computer skills (will train)

Staff Responsibility: 1 - 20

Specific Skills: Determine merchandise and services to be sold, Perform cash deposits, Balance daily transactions, Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, Customer service oriented

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Urban area

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use, Continuous learning
