Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Salary: will be $50,000.00 per year for a 60 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed university.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Type of Farm Operations: Livestock

Specific Skills: Feed and tend animals, Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens, Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry

Type of Equipment: Tractor, Farm truck

Type of Automated Systems Experience: Feeding and watering

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Work Location Information: Staff accommodation provided

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use

Other Information: Experience with artificial insemination, embryo transfer, show cattle preparation, herd health, nutrition as well as horsemanship skills. Must have extensive knowledge of purebred livestock industry
