Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $11.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
Notes: milage paid.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training, some university.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate.

Recreational Concentration: Creative Play, Arts and crafts, Nature games and crafts, Games

Type of Clients: Pre-school children, Children

Work Setting: Private club, Swimming pool/centre

Activity Focus: Leading/instructing groups

Specific Skills: Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts, Plan and carry out recreational activities, Enforce safety rules and regulations, Understand principles of group dynamics, Mediate disputes, Schedule activities

Additional Skills: Provide emergency or first aid assistance, Assist with special events, Prepare reports, Keep logs and maintain records

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child welfare check

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation

Work Location Information: Rural community

Ability to Supervise: 11-15 people

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, In/on water, Noisy
