Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $35,000.00 to $40,000.00 per year for a 40 hour week.
Also: medical, dental, vision, group insurance benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training, completed university.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, General office equipment, Electronic mail, Electronic scheduler, Word processing software, MS Word, Spreadsheet software, Excel, Simply Accounting, Database software, Data analysis software, Presentation software, MS PowerPoint, Internet browser

Typing (Words Per Minute): 41 - 60 wpm

Technical Terminology: Scientific, Engineering, Financial

Area of Specialization: Reports, Forms and records

Specific Skills: Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents, Receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries, Maintain and prepare reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists and databases, Sort, process and verify applications, receipts and other documents, Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically, Send and receive messages, Prepare and format page presentation, Prepare equipment or software for type of document, Provide general information to clients and the public, Order supplies and maintain inventory, Service office equipment and arrange for servicing in the case of major repairs, Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
