Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $21.00 to $23.00 per hour for a 44 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training, some university.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Type of Equipment: Garden tractors, Gasoline-powered equipment, Lawn mowers, Diesel-powered equipment

Specific Skills: Inspect and test engines and motors to diagnose and isolate faults, Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment, Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance, Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment

Additional Skills: Estimate repair costs

Security and Safety: Driver’s validity license check

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: Noisy

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Drive manual transmission vehicle

Work Location Information: In shop
