Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $28.00 to $36.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, CPR certification.

Specific Skills: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions, Assist in surgery and other medical procedures, Develop and implement health education programs, Provide nursing care, Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice, Develop curriculum for advanced education programs, Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
