Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be $4,500.00 to $7,500.00 per month for a 70 hour week.
Notes: bonus, milage paid, and other benefits.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, WHMIS Certificate.

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation, Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports, Dangerous goods occurrence reports

Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Transport hazardous products or dangerous goods, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform emergency roadside repairs
