Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $800.00 to $1,000.00 per for a 40 hour week.
Notes: milage paid.
Also: medical, dental, group insurance, life insurance, pension benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Major Work Area: Estimating

Type of Experience: Residential, Commercial

Project Size Estimating Experience: $ 500,001 - $1,500,000

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Estimating packages, Take-off packages

Specific Skills: Prepare estimates of labour and material costs, Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors, Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads, Advise on tendering procedures, Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Sound discrimination
