Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and evenings.

Salary: will be $54,000.00 per year for a 40 hour week.
Notes: bonus, and other benefits.
Also: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, RRSP benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Work Setting: General manufacturing

Machining Tools and Machines: Milling machines, Planers, Sawing machines, Shapers, Tool grinders, Universal grinders

Measuring Tools: Callipers

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Repair machine tools and parts, Set up and adjust production machinery, Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments, Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Essential Skills: Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information: Must have 3-5 years experience with Weinig Moulders. Verify competence with application by writing a brief paragraph, listing your experience with Weinig Moulders and European woodworking equipment.
