Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $27.87 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A), Driver’s License (Class 3 or D).

Work Setting / Industry Experience: Quarrying

Specific Skills: Operate heavy equipment, Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract), Drug test

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly, Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is not available

Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Critical thinking, Continuous learning
