Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $13.75 to $19.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 3 or D), Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Traffic Control Signage (TWS) Certification.

Type of Construction: Underground and tunnel work

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Concrete vibrators, Reciprocating saws, Circular saws, Grinding machines, Jackhammers, Drills

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades, Mix, pour and spread materials, Read blueprints

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information: Various locations

Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing

Other Information: Construction labourer is required for underground distribution.
