Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $15.00 to $18.00 per hour for a 15 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training, completed college or technical training, completed university.

Experience: is an asset.

Work Setting: Child care centre

Children’s Ages: 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years

Experience With Children Who Have Special Needs: Children with an intellectual disability, Children with behavioural issues

Early Childhood Education Skills: Prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members

Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills: Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children, Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits, Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child welfare check

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Continuous learning

Other Information: Must have insurance and able to attend an interview in Calgary.
