Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $28.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Survey Specialization: Topographic, Land development, Construction

Type of Systems: Computer-aided drafting systems, Computerized land information systems, GPS - global positioning system

Specific Skills: Conduct field surveys, Participate in field surveys, Operate survey instruments and devices

Additional Skills: Keep survey information in systematic order, Know and use computer hardware and software

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Valid driver’s licence, Willing to travel

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Walking

Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Other Information: Duties include survey of construction site and layout, set-up and operation of both Leica GPS and TPS1200. Must be proficient with Leica SurvCE. Minimum of two years working with M-Guide.
