Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and evenings.

Salary: will be s per week per hour for a 44 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate.

Children’s Ages: Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years), Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Take children to and from school and to appointments

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided

Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Computer use

Other Information: will deduct $336. per month for private room and board accommodation.
