Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $15.00 to $30.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: a modicum is required.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Registered animal technician.

Specific Skills: Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery, Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery, Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian, Counsel clients on animal health care, Produce diagnostic radiographs, collect samples and perform other laboratory tests
