Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $24.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
Notes: milage paid.
Also: medical benefits.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s License.

Major Work Area: Construction, Repair

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Industrial, Residential

Area of Specialization: General tilesetting (floors, walls, ceilings, etc.), Decorative pillars and arches, Clean rooms

Materials Used: Ceramic, Mosaic, Marble, Vinyl

Specific Skills: Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered, Mix, apply and spread adhesive substances, Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base, Align and straighten tiles, Cut and fit tiles around obstacles, Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, Determine best layout of tiles, Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite, Install terrazzo surfaces and polish surfaces by hand or using machines, Install pre-cast terrazzo, granite or marble units

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

Security and Safety: Driver’s validity license check

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information: On-site customer service
