Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $9.75 per hour for a 44 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Red Cross Babysitting course.

Children’s Ages: Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years)

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Take children to and from school and to appointments

Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Room and board provided

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication
