Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification.

Work Setting: Manufacturing plant, Warehouse

Type of Equipment: Pallet lifters, Lift trucks and fork-lifts

Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Type of Operation: Manual inventory control, Handling of raw materials

Specific Skills: Determine method of shipment, Schedule transportation conveyances, Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents, Assemble containers and crates, Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, Record shortages and reject damaged goods, Route goods to appropriate storage areas, Pack goods to be shipped, Unpack goods received, Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments

Own Tools/Equipment: Safety equipment/gear

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
