Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training, completed university.

Experience: is an asset.

Type of Bookkeeping and Accounting Experience: Record keeping, Cashiering

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Squirrel, Point-of-sale system, Word processing software, Spreadsheet software, General office equipment, Internet browser

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less, Staff in various areas of responsibility

Budgetary Responsibility: 0 - $100,000

Work Setting: Restaurant, Multi purpose facility, Entertainment complex

Specific Skills: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, Implement operational procedures, Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, reconciliation and related forms, Control inventory, Respond to customer complaints, Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, Train staff, Supervise staff, Customer service oriented

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Air conditioned

Other Information: This is a new position. New responsibilities will include taking inventory and placing orders for kitchen, bar and showroom supplies. Previous management experience an asset.
