Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $20.00 to $22.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.

Area of Specialization: Liquid detergents, Water-based paints, Varnishes, Pulp and paper industry chemicals

Specific Skills: Monitor instruments on one or more chemical formulation units, Measure, weigh and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards, Start up, shut down and troubleshoot equipment, Take samples, Perform routine chemical and physical tests of products, Operate equipment from a control room or from control consoles located near the production units, Adjust processing machines and equipment

Security and Safety: Bondable

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is not available
