Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days and weekends.

Salary: will be $18.00 to $22.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
Also: group insurance benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A), Driver’s Licence (Class 3 or D), Professional Driver Improvement Certificate.

Type of Trucking and Equipment: Flatbed, Dry bulk, Dump

Type of Travel: Local

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Maintenance and repair reports

Communication Equipment Experience: Cellular phone, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Medical exam

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence
