Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $15.00 to $18.00 per hour for a 44 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Work Setting: Park or public area, Landscape contractor, Commercial establishment, Private home, Landscape maintenance

Type of Machinery or Equipment: Chain saw, Weed trimmer/edger, Backhoe, Small engine equipment

Specific Skills: Assist with landscape constructions, Weed, prune and trim trees and plants, Cut grass, Rake/ collect refuse, Remove litter and garbage, Cart and spread topsoil and other materials, Lay sod or seed, Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, Apply fertilizers, Water lawns/gardens, Clear snow (manually, mechanized equipment, truck or scraper)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling
