Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
Also: group insurance benefits.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Experience: a modicum is required.

Work Setting: Retail and wholesale distribution centre

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Loaders

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Make labels and attach to goods, Wrap goods, Pack and unpack goods, Sort goods, Transport and distribute materials and goods, Maintain and organize inventory

Additional Skills: Build pallets, Ship orders

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Hand-eye co-ordination, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Finding information

Other Information: This position requires the ability to move objects up to 100 lbs. Must be able to climb a 14’ ladder. Must be detail oriented, a team player and enjoy working with the public. 32 to 40 hours/week.
